Višnjan is located in the continental part of the Istrian peninsula. Only a kilometer away from the town center, on the road through the woods and vineyards, lays the village Babudri and our house. There is a car parking beside the house. It is estimated that the house is about 100 years old, built of stone and rebuilt. It is surrounded with 2000 square meters of pristine nature so you can see pheasants, hares, deer and authentic birds. The old city of Višnjan is a ten minute walk away. Famous summer resort in Istria Poreč and the sea are only 12 kilometers away. The house can accommodate 4 persons. In ground floor there are kitchen, living room with fireplace and bathroom. Stairs leads to the first floor where you can find two bedrooms with air conditioning. There is a possibility of renting beds and chairs for the baby. Linens and towels are included in the price of the house. In front or behind the house, in the shade, you can spend a quiet evening. In the garden behind the house you can find and use a stone barbecue. In Istria, as well as the whole of Croatia, you do not need to buy water – feel free to pour a glass of tap water and drink.

Around Babudri there are good cycling paths, and we offer you four bicycles free of charge. In Višnjan there are a few shops, post office, pharmacy, bank, restaurants and pizzerias. Excellent authentic wine – red Teran or white Malvasia, you can taste and buy directly from manufacturers in their beautifully decorated basements, and they will offer you several types of Istrian grappa and famous Istrian honey or olive oil. Višnjan is known worldwide for its observatory and its head operater Korado Korlević (by which it is called an asteroid). We recommend you to visit the cave in the nearby Nova Vas, and geno-park Istrian cattle. In Višnjan there is folk fair on the last Thursday of the month, and at the end of July patron of Višnjan called Madalenjina. If you are a bit adventurous, you can fly (paragliding), with the hills around the nearby Kaštelir.

The sea is 12 kilometers away. You can swim at one of the many beaches in Poreč, and at evening stroll through medieval towns such as Vrsar, Poreč, Novigrad, Motovun, Grožnjan. At summer they offer the possibility of different day and night entertainment.
